ICMEI invited big wigs from Bollywood to speak about Mental Health

New Delhi: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with Asian Academy of Film And Television conducted a powerful webinar on ‘Creative People And Mental Stress’ and invited wigwigs of Indian Film Industry to talk on the subject.

“How creative we may be but do not forget that we all have heart and mind to think and feel the emotions. Where there is emotion stress is going to be the byproduct of the same. Stress is bound to be there. The art is in managing and controlling the stress,” initiated Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Film And Television.

“Higher the stake bigger the stress, If you are not even working still there is a stress. If you have achieved something then there is a new stress of achieving more. The fact is you have to learn the ways and means to tackle your irritations, anger, anxiety parallel to every project you lift in creative industry,” said Uday Shankar Pani renowned film director famous for Gandhi, Shalimar and TV Serials like Rajani, Indradhanush, Dekh Bhai Dekh etc.

“We are human beings and bound to get stressed for small or big things. Film and Television business is full of tensions and botherations. Time factor also plays a very key role. The pleasure of end product is so powerful that even though you know there is a stress, you jump into the same pool again and again,” said Ketan Mehta renowned film director and known for his films Manji, Mangal Pandey, Maya Memsahab, Mirch Masala, etc.

“If you try to bring in change in your day to day affairs it reduces your stress. Meditation is the best way to gain strength to face stress. A good stress sometimes is good as it gives you motivation and energy to work hard and reach your goals,” added K.Hariharan popular Film educator and director.

Living Style, your demands, your company, your routine, your exercise all together measure your stress level. It is an inbuilt component of human mind. You have to practice of not getting into the stage where stress could harm your mind and body,” expressed Dr. Nabhit Kapur well known psychologist and founder of Peace of Mind Foundation.

BIS is responsible for the harmonious development of the activities of standardization, marking and quality certification of goods and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah to the house, who is also the executive member of FFI.

The committee has requested the President of FFI Firdausul Hassan to be part of this new setup in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs. The Secretary General Supran Sen made a special note of the same. Dr. Marwah extended his gratitude to all the members of FFI present in the web meeting.

ICMEI projected good Indo Iran relations

Tehran: Indo Iran Film And Cultural Forum of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry join Hands With Iran Cultural House, Embassy of Iran in organizing the webinar titled- Role of Culture in Strengthening Communities Against Corona.

“India and Iran have wonderful relations from Centuries. Both the countries have large number of similarities as far as culture is concerned. Indo Iran Film And Cultural Forum was started to develop and promote relation between two countries. Sandeep Marwah Chaired NAI webinar meet

New Delhi; News Paper Association of India in association with International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry organized a webinar on the future Prospects of Print Media.

“We could see that slowly and gradually the print media has been converted into digital media. The best of the news papers are now available on net. During Covid 19 the process has picked up in a much faster pace and even small news papers are available on net though there circulation is limited to what’s-up and person accounts on mobile. The impression which was created during corona virus forced many people to jump to digital from actual news paper delivery,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and also for International Journalism Centre.

“The circulation has dropped down, collection of advertisement funds has reduced a lot, readership has been divided from News papers to viewership of television and most of the small news papers are fighting for survival,” added Dr. Vipin Gaur General Secretary of News Papers Association of India.

“We are surprised that the packages, which Government of India has announced to support all industries, do not carry any single benefit to Newspapers or media as such. There is no compensation to media persons who have suffered from Corona virus even on duty,” added Vikas Sharma.

National day of Russia celebrated by BRICS and ICMEI together

New Delhi: To mark the National Day of Russia, “Congratulation to Russia” an international webinar, a first-of-its-kind initiative to strengthen the bonds of friendship, stood as a testimony to the fact that true friendships, founded on love, trust and faith, continue to grow, even over the longest distances.

Webinar jointly organized by BRICS International Forum and International Federation of Indo Russian Youth Clubs with the support of Embassy of Russian Federation in India, Russian Centre of Science & Culture, Asian Academy of Film & Television and Amicable Diplomatic Club. Digital sessions were attended and conducted with the support of the public organisations. Eminent speakers and experts shared their thoughts and feelings for Russia by connecting digitally to congratulate Russia on the eve of Russian National Day on June 11th, 2020 at Zoom invitation.
This sojourn took place on a digital platform and was, primarily, divided into two sessions. Beautifully stringing the different historic events that took place and shaped the diplomatic relations, Sandeep Marwah, President, Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) chaired the first session and establishing the dynamics of the conversation, passed on the baton to Sergey Fandev, Director, RCSC Mumbai and former Ambassador Ashok Sajjanhar, President, Institute of Global Studies, followed by Dr. Vijay Jolly, Senior BJP Leader.

Mikhail Ktitorov, First Secretary, conveyed the message of H.E. Mr. Nikolay Kudashev, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to India, stating that event is an inspiring initiative that people to people contact and mutual affinity are the key drivers of friendship and solidarity.

New Delhi: A Basketball Conclave was organized by IBPA- The Indian Basketball Players Association to appreciate the wonderful work by the members of IBPA and to discuss the development of women basketball.

“More enthusiasm is to be created in youth to join basketball game if we have to produce players of international standards. The young players need good nutrition, complete rest, massive practice and international level instructors to guide to the best. I am sure like other international games basket ball also need continuous persuasion also to uplift the basketball association,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and advisor to IBPA.

“I would love to recommend the coverage of association and its activities by Radio Noida and MSTV on regular basis first to make game more popular and then association more vibrant so that all together we can promote the game of basketball,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Former Governor Ved Marwah remembered by National Dignitaries

New Delhi: Former Delhi Police chief and former Governor of Jharkhand, Manipur and Mizoram Shri Ved Marwah was cremated with full state honours and a guard of honour with Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Chief Secretary Parimal Rai paying their tribute informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah nephew of Ved Marwah in a condolence meet conducted by the family on webinar.

“Shri Ved Marwah was an outstanding civil servant and an able administrator. After an illustrious career in the IPS, he served as a Governor of Manipur, Mizoram and Jharkhand. He will be remembered for his professionalism, competence and integrity. Condolences to his family.” Sandeep Marwah read the message of President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind.

“Sad to hear about the demise of Shri Ved Marwah, former Governor of Manipur, Mizoram, Jharkhand and former Delhi Police Commissioner. He was an upright officer known for his integrity and competence. My condolences to the bereaved family members. May his soul rest in peace,” a message was sent by the Vice President of India Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu.

“Shri Ved Marwah Ji will be remembered for his rich contributions to public life. His unwavering courage always stood out during his career as an IPS officer. World Environment day celebrated by ICMEI online.

New Delhi: “Nature is sending us a clear message. We are harming the natural world – to our own detriment. Habitat degradation and biodiversity loss are accelerating. Climate disruption is getting worse. Fires, floods, droughts and superstorms are more frequent and damaging. Oceans are heating and acidifying, destroying coral ecosystems. And now, a new coronavirus is raging, undermining health and livelihoods. To care for humanity, we MUST care for nature. New Delhi: “Enough has been discussed and planned now It is time to come into action. Mother earth has given us the biggest indication that if you cannot do it I will do it myself. The whole nature is taking its better shape in this era of Covid 19, when we all are just handicap,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios presenting his studies to the group of environment lovers from all over India on the World Environment Day celebrated by MSME Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India.

“I have the pleasure in initiating and launching committees on environment in more than 100 different organizations. We are directly connected to Clean India, Green India, Save Rivers, Develop Village Develop Nation, Startup India which are Governmental projects, Our own institutions and AAFT University is continuously promoting the activities on environment at grass root level,” added Dr. Marwah.

Menstrual Hygiene Day observed by Lions Club and ICMEI together.

New Delhi: “Poor menstrual hygiene caused by a lack of education on the issue, persisting taboos and stigma, limited access to hygienic menstrual products and poor sanitation infrastructure undermines the educational opportunities, health and overall social status of women and girls around the world. As a result, millions of women and girls are kept from reaching their full potential,” initiated by Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the event organized by Lions Club of Delhi Veg in association with Deepanan Trust and ICMEI to observe Menstrual Hygiene Day.

“Menstrual Hygiene Day is a global advocacy platform that brings together the voices and actions of non-profits, government agencies, individuals, the private sector and the media to promote good menstrual hygiene management for all women and girls,” said Gaurav Gupta President of Lions Club of Delhi Veg.

“Our vision is to create a world in which every woman and girl is empowered to manage her menstruation safely, hygienically, with confidence and without shame, where no woman or girl is limited by something as natural and normal as her period. “Rome was never built in day. Life is not bed of roses but Nation should always be priority with every individual. That feeling will give you new energy to fight with the circumstances and big hope to do well in life. Thinking about the nation is like spirituality. You are above the level of a common man,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah expressing and giving examples from his own life.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been the first Indian to brake seven world records in media. He is the only Indian to be nominated as the cultural Ambassador of Fifty six countries of the World. Dr. Marwah is the first Indian from media and entertainment Industry to reach to the designation of Chancellor of the University. Ghaziabad: Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios was invited as a special guest to address the valedictory function of 30th Annual National Convention of Ghaziabad Management Association on web. “India is the biggest consumer Market and what we need is to make every thing in India. We have to be self sufficient and self-reliant. We will soon be touching a figure of 5 trillion dollar GDP. Sandeep Marwah chairs Hindi Journalism Day on 30th May.

New Delhi: The Hindi Journalism Day (Hindi Patrakarita Diwas ) is celebrated every year on May 30 in India to mark the beginning to journalism in Hindi language. This time Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Journalism Centre Chair the event designed by RJS Media on web.

“On this date, in 1826, the first Hindi-language newspaper of India “Udant Martand” was published from Calcutta by Pt. Jugal Kishore Shukla. Though, due to financial problems, the newspaper couldn’t publish for long. In 2016, the Hindi Journalism has completed its 190 years in India,” informed U.K. Manna senior journalist Secretary of the organization.

“All praise goes to all those journalists who all are putting their best from print, radio and television departments, in this dangerous time of Corona Virus and informing the country with best of the information possible. They deserve a lot of appreciation and we all must extend our best wishes for their good health,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah

Our sufferings are larger than any other medium and industry,” expressed senior journalist Arvind Kumar Singh from Rajya Sabha Television.

“We have to be confident of our caliber. Our experience will support us and I am sure every thing will revive back after a year or so. We have to bear the pain for one more year,” said Onkeshwar Pandey a well-known Senior Journalist from New Delhi.

Dr. Sunil Mittal renowned psychologist very explained the current situation and its effect on mind and body. He requested all the journalist to have patience and take care health and try to keep themselves busy with creative and constructive work.

50 most influential Indians in 2020 by Fame India Magazine

New Delhi: The list of ‘50 Most Influential Indians’ compiled by Fame India Magazine and Asia Post is based on a survey of 12,000 respondents across India. With 99.6 percent people voting/giving views in his favour, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most influential Indian and a mass leader.

If we ask you to find a platform that has Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, Kerala CM P. Vijayan,  Mukesh Ambani ,  Ratan Tata & Ravish Kumar together in it, then you may certainly have a tough time in doing it. But we have one for you.  Fame India Magazine
and Asia Post  have together compiled a list of ‘50 Most Influential Indians.’

“The list is based on a survey that saw 12,000 respondents take part. These respondents, chosen from across the social, intellectual and professional lines included writers, artists, bureaucrats, senior journalists, social activists and businessmen. The man who has topped the list should not come at all as a surprise because he is not just the most influential Indian in India at this time but probably most influential Indian in the world, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With 99.6 percent people voting/giving views in his favour, he is the most influential Indian and a mass leader,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University of Media And Arts and part of Fame India Selection Board.

Hindi heartland Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been liked by 97 percent of the respondents for his honest image and administrative qualities. Home Minister Amit Shah gets thumbs up from 96.5 percent for his determination, ability to take tough decisions and implement them. India’s well-known industrialist Ratan Tata has secured the fourth position with 95.2 percent votes. Mostly, people chose him on the basis of his social responsibility and astute entrepreneurial abilities. The fifth is Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in India. He was chosen by respondents primarily for his contribution towards making the power of the Internet grow deeper in society.

For his efforts towards successfully containing COVID-19 spread in the state, Kerala Chief Minister gets the sixth position. Sri Sri Ravishankar, spiritual leader and messenger of world peace secured the seventh position. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has successfully made to the top 10. Respondents voted him for his clean image and efforts towards self-reliant India in defense manufacturing. The man of all seasons, NSA Ajit Doval, has secured the ninth spot, while Odisha chief minister who enjoys a great connect with common people, Naveen Patnaik comes 10th on the list. PM Modi’s handpicked man PK Mishra, his Principal Secretary is on the 11th position for his managerial skills and effective execution. The young and effective Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Heman Soren, is the 12th, and Delhi CM Arvind  Kejriwal has found the 13th place on the list.

Editorial director of Fame India Magazine, US Sonthalia on the preparation of the list said “There were a total nine heads including personality, impact, vision, image, pro-development outlook and efforts towards upliftment of the society under which we have carried out the survey to select these 50 most influential Indians of 2020. The number of respondents was around 12000 which includes people from the varied field like social work, theatre, cinema, art, journalism, industry, commerce and cooperative. Fame India’s objective behind acknowledgement of such people is to set a high-performance standard for the rest in the society”.

The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand. These people are the living example of it”.

Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister who will always talk of growth, development and is known to be the man of his words, is 14th. For making positive reforms in Railways, Piyush Goel gets the 15th rank. ‘Sushasan Babu’ Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is the 16th for his pro-development governance in the state. Former health minister and BJP’s national president JP Nadda is the 17th, current Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan is the 18th, Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla is the 19th, while Baba Ramdev who has taken ‘swadeshi’ to new heights is the 20th influential man on this list.

NDA secured 37.36 percent votes in 2019 Lok Sabha polls and got 303 seats. While Rahul Gandhi-led UPA got 19.01 percent of the total turnout and managed to take the tally to 52. The brighter side UPA got eight more seats than 2014. Rahul Gandhi, being the face of the largest Opposition party, secured the 21st spot. Isha foundation’s head spiritual leader Sadguru Jaggi Vasudevan is 22nd. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is 23rd. Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Coal & Mines Pralhad Joshi has started a wave of reforms in the sector and thus gets 24th position, while Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar is 25th on the list.

Chief Minister of Goa and the suave politician Dr Pramod Sawant is 26th, Punjab Chief Minister and man of action Captain Amrinder Singh is 27th, Minister of State (IC) for Power and Renewables RK Singh is 28th and effective bureaucrat Ajay Bhalla (IAS) is the 29th on the list. The 30th on the list is Health Secretary Priti Sudan (IAS) who has been hitting headlines for all the good reasons of late. Dr Ajay Kumar (IAS), who has been immensely effective as Secretary Defence Manufacturing and Secretary Defence, has secured the 31st spot. India’s first Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat, the industrialist Gautam Adani, Pharma giant Cadila’s owner Pankaj Bhai Patel, Sajjan Jindal, Founder of Avenue SuperMarts Radha Krishna Damani, T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar, Industrialist much accessible to common people Anand Mahindra, Sulabh International’s founder Dr Bindeshwar Pathak and IFFCO’s MD & CEO Dr US Awasthi have been placed between 32nd to 40th in the list. Noida Film City most appropriate for post COVID-19 productions

New Delhi: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry organized a webinar to discus the new opportunity created by Covid 19 for film makers to use Delhi-Noida as the second centre for film productions in India after Mumbai.

“We saw this dream many years back and a film city was created with every possible technique available for pre production, production and post production. Record number of programs including feature films, advertising films, corporate films, television serials, Documentaries and everything to do with news and current affairs have been produced here so far. Noida film city offering every need of the producer, director, cinematographer and post production now. You just have to make your mind to be here with us in Noida,” said Sandeep Marwah founder of film city and president of ICMEI.

“We would like to create Noida Film City as the hub of Hindi and regional cinema which can comfortably include Punjabi Cinema, Haryanvi Cinema, Himachali Cinema, Rajasthani Cinema, Bhojpuri and many other lovable languages from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttrakhand, can also be part of it. We have tried many times but now it is the time to go in a big way,” said Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

CSI addresses architects of India in Webinar

New Delhi: More than 400 architects and designers from all over India and abroad participated in a webinar organized by Surfaces Reporter a well known magazine to discuss workspaces in Post Lockdown World.

“There is going to be a tremendous change in the whole architecture of offices and houses, shops and malls as Covid 19 is now going to stay for some more time. You need to have space for social distancing and probably all large gathering will now shift to webinars and other applications on computers,” said r, Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and founder of Noida Film city as a special invitees in the national conference of Architects.

Sandeep Marwah explained about the film studios, cinema theatres, filmy offices, auditoriums for events, open theatres etc. might need change after lockdown is over.

Sandeep Marwah first from media industry to become Chancellor

New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah is the first Indian from the most glamorous Media And Entertainment Industry to reach to the highest designation in education of being Chancellor of the University disclosed during his interview with Author Sherry.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah is the founder of Noida Film City, founder of first professional film studio of North India- Marwah Studios, he is the founder Director of first private film school of the country- Asian Academy of Film And Television and now first person from media and Entertainment Industry to be nominated by the Government to the post of the Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts.

“I have been in education since 1993. We started as a boutique institution and in 2003 added the first film degree college to our education group. In 2004 I was nominated as the first Vice Chancellor from Media And Entertainment Industry for University of Media And Arts. Now I have been designated as First Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.
