With active support of the people of India, we have been able to contain the spread of the Virus in our country,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chief Scout For India addressing to all the five million scouts and guides of the country and people of the nation.

Precautions to be taken to prevent spread of infection

Frequently wash your hands (atleast for 20 sec thoroughly) with soap and running water and alcohol based hand rub after coughing and sneezing or when caring for the sick or when in contact with patient of cough and cold or in public gathering.

Cover your mouth and nose when sneezing and coughing with flexed elbow or tissue and throw the tissue into closed dustbin immediately after use.

Avoid close contact and stay home when you are experiencing cough and fever and also avoid contact with anyone who has fever or cough or maintain distance of 6 feet (2 metre) from the patient.

Corona has brought us close to spirituality.

New Delhi: “Jo Hota Hai Bhale Ke Liye Hota Hai” –There is always a positive side of any event or happening and hence we can relate to the spiritual reasons for this kind of pandemic on this earth. It seems that God has pressed the restart button of planet EARTH,’’ said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

The media and entertainment industry has never believed in dividing the society on the basis of caste, creed, religion, status, region, colour, culture and this kind of pandemic is a proof that once you are sick you are treated by doctors with same kind of medicines, injections and treatment. Believe me that we all are part of the same family- Human Beings. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam .

We have learned that if such an epidemic hits   someone in any part of the World, it hurts us, it makes us worry, it bothers us too. We are somehow connected with unseen chain. Pandemic does not believe in borders of the country nor does it need a passport to cross the boundaries.

During this period we have realized that Health Is Wealth-‘Jaan Hai To Jahaan Hai’ we have been ignoring our food & health giving fast food a priority over the nutritious and hygienic home food but we have now been forced to revert back to the latter.

We had lost the meaning of life but have now been reminded of better values to help and support others especially old and sick people. We had forgotten the value of healthy food, water and medicine and had engrossed ourselves in the collection of luxuries of life, which, we now realize, are not that essential and useless at this time of danger.

It has reunited us with our family and family values which had taken a back seat and had almost vanished into oblivion. This pandemic has brought our families close to each other.

Our presence on earth is not only to make financial gains or to do an office job but also to adopt a humanitarian approach, which means looking after, supporting, loving and protecting each other.

It has taught us not to be egoistic: How powerful, how influential, how rich, or how egoistic you may be a small virus can put your ego to standstill.

It has reminded us the power of energy we possess to support, to help, to share and not to be selfish and only look after us. Doctors, Forces, suppliers they have already opted to be the first one.
.
The present situation is testing us whether we should panic or be patient, whether we are gainers or losers and soon our true colors will start reflecting. At least it teaches us to be positive thinker and worker.

It is reminding us that time has come when we have to learn from our past. Love and respect your Mother Earth. It has taught us that life is very important -there is power of hope, power of healing and power to win. Let’s treat CORONA VIRUS as THE TEACHER OF THE CENTURY and pray almighty to please save us from this calamity.

Cheif Scout of India Sandeep Marwah gave wise words on COVID-19

New Delhi: “There is currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person. Between people who are in close contact with one another,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chief Scout For India while addressing to the Nation.

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

Avoid close contact with people who are sick Put distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community. This is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick. Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care.

Cover coughs and sneezes Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow. Throw used tissues in the trash. Immediately wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, clean your hands with a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

If you are sick: You should wear a facemask when you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. If you are not able to wear a facemask (for example, because it causes trouble breathing), then you should do your best to cover your coughs and sneezes, and people who are caring for you should wear a facemask if they enter your room.

If you are NOT sick: You do not need to wear a facemask unless you are caring for someone who is sick (and they are not able to wear a facemask). Facemasks may be in short supply and they should be saved for caregivers.

Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.

If surfaces are dirty, clean them: Use detergent or soap and water prior to disinfection. Dr. Marwah suggested to consult their doctor in case of emergency. They must follow instructions passed on by the Government from time to time.
