3rd Global Fashion and Design Week attracted Design Fraternity

The second day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week attracted many more designers from all over India and abroad. The campus of Marwah Studios was bubbling with energy and huge turnover of young designers and fashion lovers.
“We are successful in our venture. No one in India has ever thought of organizing a fashion festival to that extent. Designing is playing a very important part in every segment of every industry, be a car or air-plane or it is designing of stationery or toys. There is a need to highlight this concept and new ideas,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Festival.


“I appreciate the enthusiasm of ICMEI and AAFT to take this kind of fair to international level. Soon this fashion week will be known to the world. I assure you that Morocco will take part in this festival next time. I am lucky to be associated and it has given me quite a new ideas to think about designing,” said H.E. Muhomed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco to India lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“Festivals like these bring many countries together. I am impressed that designers are also showcasing range from Bulgaria. We would like to part of every event of ICMEI, it is indeed an international platform,” said H.E. Eleonara Dimitrova Ambassador of Bulgaria to India.

Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum was launched from the platform where H.E. Muhomed Maliki was honoured with the Patronship and Ambassador nominated Sandeep Marwah as the Chair of the forum. Sandeep Marwah also presented Patron-ship of Indo Bulgarian Film And Cultural Forum to H.E. Eleonara Dimitrova.

“It is difficult to express in words the achievements of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, his contribution is par excellence. He is in real nation building and promoting young talent now in fashion and design too. Lets work hard to create a better India together,” said Kuljeet Chahal General Secretary Bhartiya Janata Party.

The first lady of Algeria in India Yahia Cherif Yassina and Baujdaria Rim from Embassy of Tunisia were also present there. A coffee Table Book Bazars of India was released by the dignities prepared by Tanya Sharma.

Designer Vaibhav Singh, Mitali Bhatnagar, Ayan Bhatnagar, Rinkoo Shroff, Academician Ritu Mathur and Aditya Vig, Sanjeev Maglani of Kalpana Garments were others speakers on the occasion. Ritu Lal Director AAFT proposed vote of thanks.

A terrific colourful authentic range of garments were presented by young designers including Mohd Uwais who showcased the range from South Africa followed by Jyoti Bisht & Priyansha Priyal from Slovenia, Vdika Singh & Payal from Iran, Sanya Sahani & Amisha Choudhary from Afghanistan, Purnima & Vikas Yadav from Nigeria, Avisha Adhkari & Riya Dobhal from Bulgaria, Pooja Choudhary & Vandana Yadav from Sudan, Nidhi Tiwari from Maldives and Manpreet Kaur presented range from Egypt.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored the dignities by presenting them with memento and participation certificate of fashion and design week.
