Third day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 started with the competitions among the students of AAFT school of Fashion and Design. The variety of stalls, right at the entrance representing creative products were appreciated by one and all that was entering into the campus of Marwah Studios.
‘Fashion Is For All’ was the topic of seminar of the 7th Session of 3rdGFDWN. “It’s not about the dress you wear, it’s about the life you lead in the dress. Fashion should be a form of escapism, and not a form of imprisonment. Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah initiating the session.
“I always find beauty in things that are odd and imperfect – they are much more interesting. The dress must follow the body of the woman, not the body following the shape of the dress. I am impressed by the size of the fashion and design festival. The energy is so contagious here that you feel like coming here again and again,” said Cdr.K.L.Ganju Consul General Consulate General of Comoros.
Kiran Sangeeta Murali Mrs India 2016, Nakul Verma Architect, Manish Gulati Architect, Payal Kapoor Interior Designer, Harish Tripathi Architect, Anoop Bose Lawyer Supreme Court and J.P.Singh Trustee Armed Forces Support Mission also participated in the discussion.
A coffee Table Book Bazars of India prepared by Manjeet Kumar of AAFT School of Fashion And Design was released by the dignities. The discussions were followed by a fashion show.
Ridhi Gupta & Tarushi Rastogi showcased the range from Peru, Alka Dabodia & Manisha Sharma took the country of Cyprus, Akshita Chaudhary & Nikita Chauhan worked on garments from Nepal, Km Samreen Khan expressed Mongolia, Nidhi Agarwal touched range from Venezuela, Dishika Malhotra opted Malaysia, Preeti Kumari accepted the offer of Iran, Amisha Arya for Senegal, Pankaj from Azerbaijan, at last Aadya & Rahul Kumar Jha from India Khadi.
Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored the dignities with participation certificate and memento of the festival week. Ritu lal Director AAFT School of Fashion And Design proposed vote of thanks.
