Enthusiasm, Zest and excitement could be seen with colourful decoration at Noida Film City inviting fashion and design lovers to one of the biggest extravaganza of fashion and design at Marwah Studios.
The international flags and their colors, stalls, decorated entrances are enough to recognize the strength of this fashion carnival designed by International Film And Television club in association with AAFT School of Fashion And Design supported by ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry. The third festival has grown bigger with 750 dresses, 200 designers, 85 models, 8 exhibitions, 9 seminars, 49 countries, 85 rounds in 9 fashion shows,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group.
“What a grand show, what a display, what a presentation. Never seen such an interesting gala fashion show. These kind of cultural events bring unity into the people of many countries,” said H.E. Michael A.A. Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India at the inauguration of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019.
“I am amazed to note that a unique display of dresses by Azerbaijan are the part and parcel of this fashion week. It has raised the level of our friendship,” added H.E. Ashraf Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India while lighting the ceremonial lamp.
“I am honoured to the part of this spectacular fashion and design week. A lot has been done to project so many countries at the same time,” said Dr. Abdelrazeg Abu Jazer Counsellor Embassy of State of Palestine.
Renowned designers like Parantap Shekhar, Vikas Kumar, Simran Kaur Malhotra shared their vast experience of the industry to who’s who of fashion and design industry present there along with the design students from all over India and abroad.
Dignities released the design directory of passing out students of degree and diploma students of AAFT Fashion and Design School. A coffee table book prepared by Ruchica Bhardwaj was also released.
The event was followed by a grand fashion show of dresses inspired by the international committees at School. Designers like Pooja Rani showcased the design range of garments from Poland, Priya Sharma of Serbia, Dipti Tripathi of Azerbaijan, Runita Malhotra from Cyprus, Shivi Agarwal of Slovenia, Divya Gautam of Senegal, Jyoti Ranjan & Keertika Pant of Lebanon, Maithli Oberoi & Simran Suri of Lesotho, Nikhil Kumar from Hungary and Rashika Mushra & Surbhi Khandelwal range of clothes were influenced by Ghana. The festival was arranged under the leadership of Ritu Lal festival director.
Earlier an exhibition of group paintings titled “Collection” was inaugurated by the guest of the day. The first day also saw the flag off ceremony of cycle ride by Himanshu Kumar a record holder of Cyclothon propagating Love Peace And Unity Through Art And Culture.
