New Delhi: Today we all are celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of Father of Indian Cinema Dhundiraj Govind Phalke popularly known as Dada Saheb Phalke who was born 1870 in Bombay, and was an Indian director, producer screenwriter, editor and distributor. He produced the first full length feature film Raja Harish Chandra in 1913.
“Though we really wanted to create a big event but now because of Covid 19 the celebrations have been reduced to a webinar. I am happy more than hundred people participated on this very auspicious day of Dada Saheb Phalke Birth Anniversary,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University and President International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.
“No one is perfect but certainly we can complement each other with inspiration- the inspiration of our experience, success stories, kind and healing words,” said Sandeep Marwah assuring the audience that soon a seat in the university will be created to honour, every year, a film maker of who has contributed a lot to the cinema, after the name of Dada Saheb Phalke.
