The T&A industry is one of the largest and the most important sectors for the Indian economy in terms of output, foreign exchange earnings and employment. “T&A provides direct employment to over 45 million people but the nationwide lockdown has led to a temporary closure of factories and lay-offs have already begun among low wage workers,” added Varija Bajaj renowned fashion designer.
“There are many ways to keep your self busy as a designer. This is the best time to study the national and international fashion. You can even start preparing a range for march next year. Your deep research towards the upcoming requirements will get you a better business,” said Swati Modo renowned footwear designer.
“Plan your design books, convert them into digital and be ready for your digital shows as that is what now going to sell for the next few months or may be years,” suggested Rosy Ahluwalia popular designer at Oscar show from India.
