ICMEI presented Webinar on role of journalists in COVID-19

New Delhi: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with AAFT University presented today a webinar where more than 100 journalists participated from all over India to discuss the role of journalists in covid 19.

“We have thanked many times   the doctors, nurses, hospital staff, police forces, para military forces , safai Karamcharies but forgotten to salute journalist who are covering this pandemic every minute by taking risk of their life. This webinar is here to salute and extend the gratitude to every journalist involved with the reporting of Covid 19,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI and Marwah Studios initiating the webinar.

“Our sole purpose is to make young journalist realized that no profession is easy and every hard work putting in your work will definitely be appreciated, the scale can be different,” added Dr. Sushil Bharti Broadcasting Director of Marwah Studios.

“No doubt that reporting is a tough job , but it is also important to recognize the participation of all those who are working behind the scene. The risk is equal to all- health wise as well as responsibility wise,” said Ravi Parashar Senior Journalists, been active in journalism for 30 years and has played his innings in Navbharat times, TVI, Zee News, Aaj Tak and Sahara TV. He has written more than thousand articles..

“People actually forget that the role of journalists is very difficult on the location itself. What and how he has to report, depends upon his balanced observations, unbiased decisions and human emotions which are working together at the same time,” added Anil Pandey been in journalism for twenty years and has worked for Jansatta, Star News, The Sunday Indian, and has been known as social activist.
